- I grew up in a suburb of Chicago and attended the University of Missouri at Columbia for my undergrad. I have a Masters in Elementary Education from Regis. I come from a family with four kids. My sister is a teacher in Chicago. One of my brothers lives here and the other one lives in Chicago. I moved here because my husband loved Colorado and I loved him. As it turns out,I love Colorado as well.
I don't think that Mockingjay is the best title for the book because it is only about her being the Mockingjay for part of the book like what I am saying is that it should have been different because honestly she's the mockingjay for about 50 pages. I loved Suzzane Collins's ending because I thought Coin had to die and Snow. What I would done though is I would have Katniss aiming at Coin then have Snow try to shoot Katniss in the back of the head and the bullet hits Coin then Katniss would take out snow.

I think that the title Mocking Jay was pretty good. If you think about it, Katniss was the mocking jay until she won the war. After she was a burden but she was still a Mocking jay for three fourths of the book. The way that Suzanne Collins ended the book (spoiler alert) with Katniss having kids was a bit weird so in the respect of a fitting conclusion, I don’t think so. But I have no alternative thus making my opinion invalid. I think that Suzanne Collins ended the book rather abruptly and it didn’t meet my expectations of war and depression; instead it ended with happiness. Don’t get me wrong I liked the ending it was just a bit anticlimactic.
