Mockingjay Due 2/11

Do you think the title "Mockingjay" is a fitting conclusion for this series? Why or why not? In addition, what do you think of the Way Suzanne Collins finished the book? Do you like it? If not, what would you have done?

  1. I don't think that Mockingjay is the best title for the book because it is only about her being the Mockingjay for part of the book like what I am saying is that it should have been different because honestly she's the mockingjay for about 50 pages. I loved Suzzane Collins's ending because I thought Coin had to die and Snow. What I would done though is I would have Katniss aiming at Coin then have Snow try to shoot Katniss in the back of the head and the bullet hits Coin then Katniss would take out snow.

  2. I think that the title Mocking Jay was pretty good. If you think about it, Katniss was the mocking jay until she won the war. After she was a burden but she was still a Mocking jay for three fourths of the book. The way that Suzanne Collins ended the book (spoiler alert) with Katniss having kids was a bit weird so in the respect of a fitting conclusion, I don’t think so. But I have no alternative thus making my opinion invalid. I think that Suzanne Collins ended the book rather abruptly and it didn’t meet my expectations of war and depression; instead it ended with happiness. Don’t get me wrong I liked the ending it was just a bit anticlimactic.
