I grew up in a suburb of Chicago and attended the University of Missouri at Columbia for my undergrad. I have a Masters in Elementary Education from Regis.
I come from a family with four kids. My sister is a teacher in Chicago. One of my brothers lives here and the other one lives in Chicago. I moved here because my husband loved Colorado and I loved him. As it turns out,I love Colorado as well.
Hercule Poirot is one of the most famous literary characters. What do you think of him? Use examples from the text to support your answer. This will be worth five points.
I think of M. Poirot as a mysterious man with high expectations of people. After all, he is the second most famous detective in the world! He seems important, snobby, but curious of anything that is happening. He looks at lower class as something dirty, like rats. Nothing does not suit his taste of enjoyment, to me.
I think M. Poirot as a great detective but with a nasty habit of thinking lower class is dicusting like a rotted fruit. He also seems quite smart as to who the suspects are and how to find them. For example, he put the paper near the contraption he made to showthe true name of the murdered peson. Those are the reasons why I think of M. Poirot as a snobby, but good detective. -Maya
I think Hercule Poirot acts in a variety of ways. He is a man who thinks very highly of himself. He is also unique and does lots of unexpected things. I think he is very aware that anything can help solve a mystery. Even a dented watch set at 1:25 gets to him as a big clue! He is very persistent in these kinds of actions. In conclusion, Hercule Poirot is an extremely unique man.
I do not think highly of Hercule Poirot. Even though Ratchett was a criminal, Poirot didn’t know that, so he should have helped Ratchett. I believe Poirot is partially responsible for Ratchett’s death, just as if a guard fell asleep right before a robbery, he would be partially responsible for the success of the robbery. It doesn’t matter if he doesn’t like Ratchett’s face. He claims to be a detective, but I’ve never heard of a detective turning down a job. In conclusion, I like Sherlock better. -Kobe
I think of Hercule Poirot as a very unique man. He looks down on the unfortunate which makes him a bad man. He also seems very nice at other parts. It seems like he does not care about the suspects feelings and becease of this people would maybe think about him as a sociopath. I think there is no simple way to describe him.
