  1. In Afganistan women are not allowed to go to school.
If someone goes out of the country, gets an education and comes back, they will be sent to jail. That is what happened to Parvana's dad. The Taliban came into his house and took him by the arm. Parvana's dad got dragged away for getting an education in England. He was sent to jail.

  2. In Afganistan, women are not allowed to go to school. If someone who lives in Afganistan goes to school in a different country, and comes back into Afganistan they will be sent to jail by the Taliban. That is what happened to Parvana's dad. He went to England and got an education. He came back into Afganistan. He lived there for for a couple years without the Taliban catching him.
One day the Taliban burst into his house. Before Parvana's dad got taken away he said to Parvana," Take care of the others, my Malali." Then he was gone.(page 31).

  3. Well, education isimportant because no one really has an education. Most people in Afghanistan don't have an education. Plus, the girls can't go to school in Afghanistan. It is also important to choose the right school, because the Taliban might ask you this question "why did you go to england for your education?" That's why an education is important in Afghanistan. 4. In Afganistan going to school could be good for you if you sell stuff to give change. but sometimes its bad if you go to school somewere else. for example Parvana's dad was put in jail for going to school in England it is realy unfair.[The whole family was laughing when four Taliban soldiers burst through the door.] Page number 30.

  5. Being educated helps you live more, earn money and get a job.
In Afghanistan, however, women are not to be educated. In the
book Parvana's father got thrown in jail for being educated
in London. Parvana's family had a great house. However...
"That house had been destroyed by a bomb. The family had moved
several times since then. Each time, they moved to a smaller
place.Every time their house was bombed, they lost more of
their things. With each bomb, they got poorer. Now, they all
lived together in one small room."

  6. It’s important to be educated in Afghanistan for the same reason it is important to be educated anywhere else. One of the reasons it is important to be educating in Afghanistan is so that you outsmart the Taliban. From the book I inferred that most of the Taliban people are not educated and it might important to be educated in Afghanistan to outsmart the Taliban people. It might be important to be educated so that if you worked in the marketplace you could understand how to count money correctly and read. This example is the same anywhere else in the world, not only in Afghanistan.
Education could also be bad for your life. In the book the Breadwinner (based on a family in Afghanistan 10 years ago) it states that both the mother and the father were educated before the Taliban people came and shared their religion and ways strongly in a way that affected their life’s strongly . The father had a degree in England and the mother was a writer and they were living in Afghanistan. Since the Taliban people came and changed Afghanistan immensely.
The father was taken away by the Taliban people from their small home. In the scene the solders had hit him with a stick making him bleed, they had asked him “Why did you go to England for your education”? , page 30 and Afghanistan doesn’t need your foreign ideas” page 31. When the solders took the father helplessly he had said “take care of the others, my Malali.”also page 31. It is important to get an education in Afghanistan but at the same time it could hurt your family.
    I love this book!!!!
