  1. Education is very important because people might count out your money wrong like a dollar or so and hat would really cost you because you dont have to much money. Like when they were selling bones "They didn't speak until they were far away from him for fear that he had miss counted their money."

  2. Education is important in Afganistan because you need to know how to read the letter somebody sent you. For example, the Taliban had Parvana read his letter. One thing about it, if you are an educated woman the taliban might shoot you.

  3. I agree with Louis that they need to know how to count out their money. What if you paid too much?

  4. Education is very important because many people don't know much and if people can read and write then they can make money by reading letters. Being educated can hurt your life alot because Parvana's father got arrested for being educated in England. I think Louis is correct that education is important and the quote says that they didn't talk to make him recount the money.

  5. I think education is imortant because you need to be able to read letters and write them too. people make money off of that and the people need to know what the letter says. It is bad because the reader gets to know these things too.

  7. I agree with Shania because having an education in Afghanistan can earn you money. You can learn how to read and have people pay you to read letters. It can hurt you because the Taliban don't let anybody get educated. If you do they may shoot or arrest you. That could really hurt your life.

  8. Education is not what the taliban want. To the taliban, education is a poison that spreads around and eventually overpower them. Being educated is what got Parvana's father arested. He was educated in England. Louis is correct to because money is very important too.
