  1. One of the differances is that they dont have computers, radio, or TV! As they said in the book The taliban baned all modern equipment from the houses.Parvana has it hard off but at lest she has het family.

  2. I agree with louis that they don't have any modern equitment because the Taliban banned them from peoples houses. Also a difference is Parvana doesn't get to go to school but I do. Another thing is young girls wear chadors and older girls and woman have to wear burquas, but I can wear what I want.

  3. I agree with Louis, but a couple other things are that Parvana can't go outside as herself. The modern electronics are banned as Louis said. Parvana really does have a hard life. Taliban go around arresting random men and women. They shoot anyone that doesn't listen to them. In the U.S., compared to them, we have amazing lives. We don't get randomly arrested or shot with rocket launchers. Afganistan people have terrible lives, even the Taliban do.

  5. Parvana has a very hard life. I don't have anything that I could relate to her and me. First, I have money that I could freely use. Parvana doesn't. Secondly, I could walk outside and as Devon said not getting bombed. Lastly, as Louis said we have electronics. And we don't have people who randomly shot and kill woman.

  8. I agree with Josh. I'm glad I don't live in Afghanistan right now. If I did, you wouldn't be reading this. Also, I don't understand why they arrest random people.

  9. I agree with Josh on how the Taliban just go around killing people and nobody does a thing. Josh is also right on how in the U.S.A. we don't get shot with rifles or rocket launchers
