Heart of a Samurai Due 9/24

Why can't Manjiro return to Japan if he is rescued by the Americans? How does this affect his future dreams? This is worth five points.

    Manjiro cannot return to Japan because American ships aren’t allowed in and on Japanese harbors and land. This affects his dreams because he wants to be a samurai and samurais are not in the U.S.

      (The first one is a fake) Manjiro cannot return to Japan because American ships are not allowed on and in Japanese harbors and land.This affects his dreams because hee wants to go home. Also he wants to be a samurai and samurais aren't in the U.S. So, he has to stay in the U.S.

    Manjiro can’t return to Japan if rescued by the Americans because they would “poison’ him with there savage ways. The Japanese didn’t want him to come back if he acted like an American. This would affect his dreams because Manjiro wanted to be a samurai. He can’t be a samurai if he’s not welcome to japan. I know that he wanted to be a samurai because it said so in the book.

    Manjiro can not return to Japan because he went to far away from home.The Americans that rescued him from the island look just like the made up barbarians and would be a bad influence on him. Manjiro can no longer become a Samurai because he isn't allowed to returnt to Japan.

    Manjiro can not return to Japan because he was out of the borders. That is because if you go out of Japan you can't go back in because the Japanese think if you go out of Japan savages will poison your mind. this affects Manjiro's dreams because he wants to be a samurai. He can't because he can't go back to Japan to be a samurai.

    Manjiro can't go back to Japan because of the laws. The laws say that nobody captured by the "Barbarians" A.K.A Americans is allowed back into Japan. Manjiro's dream is to be a samurai. Manjiro can't do this out of Japan. That is why being rescued by Americans will keep Manjiro from going back to Japan and following his dreams.-Oliver
