I grew up in a suburb of Chicago and attended the University of Missouri at Columbia for my undergrad. I have a Masters in Elementary Education from Regis.
I come from a family with four kids. My sister is a teacher in Chicago. One of my brothers lives here and the other one lives in Chicago. I moved here because my husband loved Colorado and I loved him. As it turns out,I love Colorado as well.
Okay....so you might hate me for making you stop reading! Who do you think the murderer is now? Use information from the text to support your answer. This is worth five points.
I think the murderer is Turtle. I think is it Turtle because she is the bomber. Also she was in the Westing house the night Sam Westing died. Turtle is the child that her parents don't really pay attention to so that could possibly make her angry, sad, and jealous. It might have made her so sad that she wanted to kill Sam Westing. In conclusion, I think Turtle is the murderer. -Tess
I think the murderer is Otis Amber for a plethora of reasons. First, a lot of clues point to him. For example, grain = oats = Otis Amber. Next, he was avoiding the other hairs. He does not want to be found. In conclusion, I think Otis Amber is the murderer. -John
I have mixed feelings about who the murderer is. I no longer think it could be Sydelle Pulaski. On page 118 we learn that Crow’s childhood friend was Sybil Pulaski, not Sydelle. Westing got the wrong “Pulaski.” That was his big mistake. Now, I’m not sure if there is a murderer at all. I think that because Judge Ford has the police report about the car accident that happened fifteen years ago. On page 136, Judge Ford says, “Facial injuries! It was the face that had disappeared fifteen years ago, not the man. Westing had a different face, a face remodeled by plastic surgery. Westing had a different face and a different name.” Therefore, he could have gotten plastic surgery and a new name and he could have been hiding in the shadows, laughing, all along. -- Ariana
The murderer is Angela. The bomber is also Angela exept for the fourth time when it was Turtle doing Angela’s dirty work. Angela was tired of being the perfect child the one who always does it right. So, on Halloween night she snuck out to scare herself by going into Mr. Westing’s house. She went upstairs and into the bed room that Mr. Westing was sleeping in. Then, she felt the need to do something bad. So, she murdered Mr. Westing. Therefore, Angela is the murderer.
I think Ms. Crow is the murderer for many reasons. First of all, She has a limp so she could have been the one who walked into the Sam Westing house and killed Sam. Secondly she has been acting a little weird. Lastly, she wasn't at the will meeting for Sam Westing. In conclusion, that's why I think the murderer of Sam westing is Ms. Crow.
I have mixed feelings about the murderer. At the beginning, I thought it was Sydelle because nobody noticed her and she could get away with things. Yet, now I think he might have committed suicide. If none of the heirs got the answer right, he would keep the money. In conclusion, I think Sam Westing murdered himself.
