- I grew up in a suburb of Chicago and attended the University of Missouri at Columbia for my undergrad. I have a Masters in Elementary Education from Regis. I come from a family with four kids. My sister is a teacher in Chicago. One of my brothers lives here and the other one lives in Chicago. I moved here because my husband loved Colorado and I loved him. As it turns out,I love Colorado as well.
I feel that liesel and Rudy's relationshio is an odd mix of love, hatred, and close friendship. I think that Rudy is in love with Liesel because in the book he says, " If I win I get to give you a kiss". And he repeats that sveral times in the book. I think their friendship is a good one because they add in the right amount of teasing and encouragement. Like Liesel mentioned in the book Rudy is the only thing that kept her sane. Even though they call each other names and tease each other I think they love the company and friendship. That is what I think of Liesel and Rudy's relationship

Rudy's obviously got feelings for Leisel. "No point asking if I get a kiss for that, I guess?"
ReplyDelete(page 290). I think Leisel is sort of in love with Rudy but too embarrassed to show it. Rudy and Leisel have a good relationship, but some of the coments they throw at each other are hurtful.

their relashionship is confusing. I don't think that they're necessarily in love,but I don't think that "frienship" is a strong enough word. Rudy sure has alot of opinions about Liesel. For example he said:"if I win I get to give you a kiss." then he calls her a filthy pig. It doesn't make alot of sense, but in some ways it fits them. marah
ReplyDeleteI agree with Cori. I think that they are sort of in love, but they also seem to hate each other and be close friends. They do encourage each other often and even teasing can make a good frienship. Having a friend keeps them both sane, not only Liesel but Rudy too. That is why I agree with Cori.

I agree with Marah. She is right when she says that that Rudy and Leisel have a close relationship, but because of the way they treat each other it is a confusing one. Rudy and Leisel obviously have to strong of a relationship to be called freinds. That is why I agree with Marah.

I agree with Brandon because he always does or gets things for her. When he asks for a kiss, an obvious sigm, it's not that hard.
ReplyDeleteI think that in many ways, Rudy loves Leisel. They insult each other, a sign of love. Leisel is in denial, but I think she fell for him when he got the whistler.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Brandon. Liesel does sort of like Rudy, you can tell because she is always wanting to be with Rudy. When she is around Rudy you can tell she is more happy and trys to avoid the fact that she likes him, where as Rudy is more than willing to express himself in front of Liesel.

I think that Rudy is obviously in love with Liesel. Although she hasn't admitted it yet, I think that she's in love with Rudy too.

I felt really bad when death came right out and told you that Rudy is going to die.

I agree with Cori and MArah. I think that they are sort-of in love. They are alyways calling each other names. Liesel calls Rudy Sakerel while Rudy calls Liesel Arschgrobbler.
