I grew up in a suburb of Chicago and attended the University of Missouri at Columbia for my undergrad. I have a Masters in Elementary Education from Regis.
I come from a family with four kids. My sister is a teacher in Chicago. One of my brothers lives here and the other one lives in Chicago. I moved here because my husband loved Colorado and I loved him. As it turns out,I love Colorado as well.
I think that the murderer is Crow because who would suspect a “harmless” little door maid to murder one of the most successful businessmen in the state of Michigan.
I agree with Louis but,for a different reason. My reason is because Crow said that she "won". But really someone else did. They found the words Berthe Erica Crow.
Know I'm all mixed up about the murder. First I thought it was Grace (I still have suspitions about her) then I thought it was Angela but she got hurt so I counted her out. I just DON'T KNOW! ~TAYLOR~
I think the murderer is Crow now. First, reason is because Sydell found 3 missing words in her clues.Berthe Erica Crow. And second is because none of the people would suspect a weak, frail little 57 year old hotel/door maid.
I do hate Miss lappies. I think the murder is Crow because in the book it said the missing words spelled Crows name, because Mr Westing said "it's not what you have, it's what you don't have that counts."
I think that nobody murdered Sam Westing. I agree with J.J. Ford that Barney Northrup is Sam Westing in disguise. I also think that the person in the coffin was a wax figure. -Devon P.S. I do want to keep on reading.
I disagree with Louis. J.J. Ford said that Crow was Sam Westing's Wife. Also, she said that Sam wants to punish Crow because she was forcing Violet to marry someone she loathed. -Devon

I just saw Louis's comment and I TOTALY agree. She does seem nice but that doesn't mean she isn't the MURDER.

I agree with Louis that it is Crow for the same reason but also a different. I think he did it because of what they said with the clues.

yes...now she made us read to the end so now I don't. I figured out who the murderer was by rereading and now I'm finishing the book.

That could be true

I've just read the book and I'm so suprised who the "murder" is! It really is a book! But I just can't belive who the "murder" is! ~TAYLOR~
ReplyDeleteI already know who the murderer is but I won't ruin it for other group members
