This is what I think about Hercule Poirot. I think he is a very witty man but dosen't reveal everything he thinks. I imagine him as a short man with a mischievous twinkle in his eye. He seems to be on his own side. Taking every little detail into consideration. You can't tell what he's thinking of and to solve the mystery I think you'll really have to put yourself in his shoes.
ReplyDeleteI think Hercule Poirot is the type of man who pays attention to every little thing. I picture him to be that man who always uses common sense and never guesses unless he has to. As far as looks go, I agree with Alastair that Hercule Poirot is short. He has a very large mustache and is always looking at you with an analyzing glance.
ReplyDeleteHercule Poirot is a man with an eye for detail. He sees alot but never says alot. His delicate health hides suprising stengthes. I say he has delicate health because he said his mouth was dry because he forgot his mineral water. I think he would look like a man with an eggy head and Dali style mustaches.

I agree with desi. In the book it refernced him being short. I also read in the book he had a hard time keeping his mustaches out of his soup. I think Desi and Alastair and me are right about his eye for detail.

I agree with Desi about his common sence he has cracked many mysteries before and probably is looking for the smallest things the murderer might of accidently left that could point them in the right direction. He seems to be a well known sleuth and I think it's funny how everyone who has commented has also talked about his INSANE mustache.
ReplyDeletePoiroit is a little man who has a big nose and an egg head which also has trouble with keeping his mustache out of his soup. I think that Poiroit might be somewhat like a thing called a crypttologist cause he can figure out clues easly.
ReplyDeletethe thing that just got posted with cryptioliogist was Isaac's
ReplyDeleteThis is what I think of Hurcule Poirot. I picture him as a short, stubby little man with a curly red moustache. He is a quiet, suspicious character with alot of sense. He looks at every little detail before going out and suspecting someone of anything. I think that he also is a little bit self centered, he is never willing to do something for somebody else. What ever it is it's for himself. I also agree with Alastair on the witty part, he is a very brave and outgoing character.
ReplyDeleteI think that Hercule Poirot is a short stuby man with a big mustace that stands out from his apperance. He is very formal and cares about his health. I really like the way he observes people and then with that information he has they make there first impreshion of them. Like when he was overed a case and refused it, because he did not like the man's face. That is what I think of him.

I agree with Lizzy because I also think Hercule has delicate health. Because he makes sure he's in many layers bafore he goes outside, also wearing a hat, scarf and gloves.

I agree with Desi because Hercule Poroit does pay attention to every little thing bcause he found the pipe cleaner and the hankerchief.

I agree with Pilar that Hercule Poirot observes people and then makes impressions about them based on how they look. I think Agatha Christie made it this way to throw us off because the 1st time I read Murder on the Orient Express I figured Rachett was the murderer, not the murdered based on the description.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Elizabeth. I always picture him with a big egg-like head and a crazy moustache
ReplyDeleteI agree with Lizzy bcause I think he has very delicate health. In the book, it says that he always gets mineral water at some time at night. This is why I agree with Lizzy.
