  1. why is education important in Afganistan? I dont think its very important unless it is part of their religion.for example on page 31-32 their dad gets beat and hit because he knows how to read, write and was taught england.also thats only one of the ways it could hurt your life.for example girls can not go to school also you can learn any thing that corisponds to the taliba religion. that is why i think education is more on the bad side.

  2. The reason why education is good in Afghanistan is because Paravanna's father was hired to read letters, since not a lot of people get an education in Afghanistan. He went to a college in England to study.
The reason it is bad is because the Taliban does not like foreign ideas and that is why they dragged Parvanna's dad out of her house. They are Muslim extremists and that is why they do not allow this.

  3. I think that education is important in Afghanistan because it can help you through out life. It can hurt you because the Talibans can beat you up if you know how to read or write. on page 31, Parvana's father gets hurt and taken to jail because of his education. He was taught in England. A reason because the Talibans didn't want the Afghanistan residents to learn is because it's not part of their religon.

  4. Education is important to the Taliban because they want to teach their religion. If you learn anything other than what the Taliban teach, you will get arrested, beaten and maybe killed. Parvana's dad got arrested and beaten and for being educated in England instead of Afghanistan. For a girl like Parvana, it's even more dangerous to be educated. Not to mention that girls aren't allowed outside. Ben

  5. Education really isn't a good thing in Afghanistan. They only allow it if it is about their colony. If you were educated in a different country, they would beat you and take you to prison like Parvana's dad. He was educated in England. He knew how to read and write, and he taught his daughters. They are that strict about education.

  6. Education is important in Afghanistan because if you know how to read you can be arested or killed by the Taliban. It is not allowed by the Taliban. That is why Paravana's dad was captured by the Taliban. " Afghanistan needs more illiterate thugs like you,"
