- I grew up in a suburb of Chicago and attended the University of Missouri at Columbia for my undergrad. I have a Masters in Elementary Education from Regis. I come from a family with four kids. My sister is a teacher in Chicago. One of my brothers lives here and the other one lives in Chicago. I moved here because my husband loved Colorado and I loved him. As it turns out,I love Colorado as well.
I thought the mis-shaped spots, the enormous neck, and the long tongue. Then it happened the feeling was remarkable it was like being lifted into the air and showered in feathers. The feeling lasted not to long but as it was still there I cherished it. As the feeling faded away I began to feel different. I looked down to see the body of a giraffe.

I decided talking wasn't going to help,so I closed my eyes and imagined I was a cat. Right away,I felt a chill on my skin. I had trouble seeing. I opened my eyes and gasped. I was really short—eye level with Bast's knee. I was covered in fur as black as midnight and my feet had turned into soft dainty paws. All my clothes were gone and I realized I was a cat. I looked around and from the corner of my eye I saw a dog eyeing me and I realized it was Sadie. She had turned into a dog. I decided to get a head start because I new Sadie was going to chase me. I leaped over fences with breathtaking agility. I was so amazed at my stunning leap that I forgot all about Sadie and I looked behind me to see Sadie the dog catching up to me. I made a brisk turn so she wouldn't catch me. As I saw her zip past me I turned around and headed back toward Bast. Finally Sadie came huffing back I think Sadie realized that trying to catch me was useless and we went on with our new abilities.

I stood in my tiny backyard that looked like the town dump imagining being a cheetah. Then suddenly, voila, the leaves swirled around, the wind howled like a wolf, and then there I was on four legs this time, standing in my tiny backyard, seeing only black and white. I had a giant body and my teeth were razor sharp. I had beautiful spots as black as the night; my eyes were pale yellow with a nice little glow. My paws were three times the size my feet were before, and I actually had a tail that was two feet long! I saw a squirrel scurry by and I snarled at it and almost pounced. Then I remembered I was still human but in a different body. Suddenly, I got really excited and leapt over the fence. I sprinted all around the neighborhood and eventually I arrived home. I missed my normal self. Then suddenly, faster than you can say “I love mac-and-cheese,” I was my normal self again.

Carter and Sadie both turned into birds on Bast’s suggestion. Carter and Sadie faded into the creatures. Sadie had trouble but eventually turned into a vulture with black-tipped wings and golden eyes. Carter transformed into a brown hawk with white trimmed wings and a dark yellow beak, but Bast in her cheetah gymnastic suit did not change because she was a cat. Bast is a human cat god whose name is Muffin when she is a house cat.

Closing my eyes I imagined myself as a bunny. I imagined I was a small soft snow white bunny and I knew a bunny I shall become. Right away I grew smaller, and smaller, my ears got taller and taller and my skin turned fuzzier and fuzzier, I was a bunny. Exploring my new self I tried to hop, to my surprise I went five feet up in the air without even trying. Exploring deeper I listened hard and almost heard something faintly, it was mouse scurrying almost 100 feet in the distance, I looked around and noticed my eyes were as sharp as an eagle. I thought to myself that now I knew I could slip quickly away from my enemies around corners and down small unnoticeable holes giving me the ability to accomplish anything I wanted with all my unique characteristics.

Carter and Sadie as soon as they met Bast again. Carter was day dreaming that he could fly then he turned into bird form and couldn't turn back. Bast got imtimidatet and chased Carter. Carter flew as high as he could to get away from Bast. luckily sadie found out how to make bast revert to Muffin mode and Sadie clutched Muffin. Carter still covered in feathers apologized to Hourus for yelling. The n they just went on. THE END
