  1. This book helped Phoebe by letting her talk about her feelings without anyone knowing. It was like a diary for her and she chose to talk about Mick. Other things that helped her get over her loss was talking and thinking about Mick with people she knew really well or family. Sometimes she talked to her best friend Zoe about it and she helped. One time she even went to where the accident was to think about it. In conclusion, Phoebe got over her loss by talking and thinking about Mick. Also, this book was like a diary for her and she chose to talk about Mick’s story in it.

  2. The book, "Mick Hart Was Here" was therapy for Phoebe by letting her tell about how much she loves and misses her brother Mick like her schools therapist recommended she would also use Micks name. Her friend Zoe didn't know what she was going through and sometimes would give the wrong answer to what she was looking for about Mick. She told other people about Mick and they just thought she was weird for telling them that, yet that helped her get through her loss. Phoebe would go into Micks old to try to remember Mick. She would also dream about Mick to help her through her loss.

  3. The book, "Mick Harte Was Here" is about a boy named Mick. The book is in his sister, Pheobe's perspective. Mick has just died in a biking accident. In a way, it is therapy for her. I know when I feel sad I like to spill my feelings in some way, whether it's to my best friend, or to a piece of paper. I think all Pheobe was trying to do was to somewhat get over it and live with the fact that her brother was dead. It is OK for her to still remember and miss him, but she wanted to get through the pain. The other things she did to help her through her loss were... First, going into Mick's room an remembering him and the great memories of him she has. This gives her a mind connection of Mick. Second, she was able to crawl under his covers and smell his pillow. This gives her a physical connection. Third, she had dreams about him which helped her visualize him. This gives her a visual connection with Mick. In conclusion, those are the reasons why the book, "Mick Harte Was Here" is therapy for Pheobe. Also, those are the other ways Pheobe gets through her loss.

  4. This book was like a therapy for Phoebe because she was able to talk to someone or express her feelings somehow. In this case, that was writing them down. Another way Phoebe was able to overcome her brother's death by talking to her best friend Zoe. She would remember Mick by going into his room, too. In conclusion, Phoebe used many ways to overcome and get used to the fact that her brother, Mick, was dead.
