Murder on the Orient Express

Hercule Poirot is one of the most famous literary characters. What do you think of him? Use examples from the text to support your answer.

  1. He's sort of a nice guy and very patient at some times. Poirot is a famous detective and really doesn't seem like one. Only compared to Sherlock Holmes does he seem like he sucks.

  2. think that Hercule Poirot is a great detective. he is always watching the other people that are in the book. It says that he got off the train and was pacing across the platform and looking at the people and commenting got himself on what he thinks of people.

  3. I think he is a good detective and definetly a people watcher. Although (like most French people) he doesn't think that good of Americans.
    Example: The younger was a likeable-looking young man, clearly an American.

  4. I really agree onto what Josh said. He does seem that way. The only thing is that he dosn't dive into the mysterys, he waits for them to come to him.
