I grew up in a suburb of Chicago and attended the University of Missouri at Columbia for my undergrad. I have a Masters in Elementary Education from Regis.
I come from a family with four kids. My sister is a teacher in Chicago. One of my brothers lives here and the other one lives in Chicago. I moved here because my husband loved Colorado and I loved him. As it turns out,I love Colorado as well.
I think that they are different because in the text it says that the Garcia's live in the poor part of town and that Juan's father does not belive in him. I think that Manolo fells bad for Juan and wants to give him a chance because he is a really good bull fighter and he needs to show his potential.
I think that Juan and Monolo are different because Juan seems to want to be a bullfighter more than Monolo but Monolo is automatically expected to be a bullfighter. Juan is better at bullfighting then Monolo, but he can't show his potential because Monnolo is the one is expected to be good at it. "'But i'm glad; don't think i'm not glad about it,' he added proudly. Monolo wished he could say that he did not feel that way at all." I don't think it's fair that Monolo is expected to be a bullfighter, but Juan, who nobody seems to care about because he is pour, wants to be one more.
In the beginning Juan and Monolo didn't even know each other. Then when Jaimy started to talk about Juan, it began to change. Monolo went with Juan to cape a bull and became freinds with him.
The reason they have such different relashionships is because Manolo is a rich type of kid and Juan is a really poor kid in Arcangel. The reason Manolo saved him was because mabye his genes started kicking in for bullfighting or that he was scared that his new freind might get hurt. ISAAC
Monolo and Juan had known each other before they just never became friends. After the fiesta brava Jaime started to talk about him. He said that Juan went into a pasture and "caped some bulls". Monolo wanted to prove himself by caping a bull with Juan. After Jaime's father's story Monolo saw Juan. Then when Monolo invited him to the tienta Juan agreed to cape a bull with him. They snuck out early in the morning. Monolo never caped the bull. Thats how their relationship built up during the story
In the book Juan and Manolo have different opinions of bullfighting. With Juan he knows its in his blood to bullfight, but with Manolo, he still isn't quite sure if its what he wants to do. Manolo helps Juan by inviting him to his first bullfight so he can show people he has talent and can be a bullfighter .
