- I grew up in a suburb of Chicago and attended the University of Missouri at Columbia for my undergrad. I have a Masters in Elementary Education from Regis. I come from a family with four kids. My sister is a teacher in Chicago. One of my brothers lives here and the other one lives in Chicago. I moved here because my husband loved Colorado and I loved him. As it turns out,I love Colorado as well.
I think Sam Westing/Barney Northrup/Sandy McSouthers' motive were based off of his incidents in earler life, such as his daughters death. He did this to get Crow, but he ran out of medication. He got killed because of this. "He's dead"-Page 151

I think Sandy/Barney/Sam faked his death to create a mystery. None of his relatives ever had something to think about but money,food,and water and nothing big to make them think. I edmit there is other reasons, but this is the one I think is most important.thats why,"he's dead"PG 151

more or less sam westing did it to get his revenge on crow "Sandy Mcsuthers was dead and Crow was arrested" I forgot what page this was on though

(redo)I think Sam/sandy/barney faked his death because he wanted to create suspense.he thought that all his relatives had nothing to actually think about but food ,water and money.there might be other reasons, but I think this one is the most important.and that's why "Sam westing's life was taken from him when he became Sandy McSouthers."PG 168

I think that Sam faked his death and disguised himself because he wanted everybody to think he was murdered, when he wrote "My life was taken away by one of you." If he was more than one person, it would be harder to find out who the murderer was.
ReplyDeleteI think that Sam Westing dressed up as other characters because he was mad or sad about his daughter, Violet, killing herself.When Sam Westing died, he was Sandy McSouthers. He died because he put medicin in his flask and it ran out."Westing's daughter killed herself rather than have to marry that crooked politician..." page 94.
