  1. Hercule Poirot is definitely one of the most famous literary characters for many reasons. First, he is a very well developed character. If you have read many books with his character, you would know his character very well and could tell his next move. Furthermore, he is a very well known character. You might overhear someone talking about him at a party or making a reference to one of his book. I think Hercule is a very interesting character that would be neat to meet. “Further than that Poirot was not disposed to be communicative.”

  2. Hercule Poirot is one of the most famous literary characters because he is an unique and well developed character. He is often refered to everywhere and makes the plot of the book even more suspenseful. Poirot is a successful character that is used well in the story. He has good instinct, too. "If you will forgive me for being personal-I do not like your face, M. Rachett." There is a reason M. Rachett was murdered. It would be interesting to meet him.

  3. M. Hercule Poirot is a very famous literary character. He is involved in many cases and books, so even though a person may have not read the same book as you, he/she still might know him through another book. This will bring up random discussions of him at a random party or event. This shows that he is known very well. In addition, if you have read most of the books that he is in, you will start to predict what he might do next. You also might like the books more, because you know him so well, it is like reading about a friend. The character of Hercule Poirot is very famous.

This will bring up a random conversation at a random party or event. You also might enjoy the books better, because if you have read most of the books that he’s in, it would be like reading about a close friend. I think that it would be very interesting to meet Hercule Poirot because he is a detective and thinks very deeply. On page 77 there is a good example of Poirot being thoughtful, “‘See you, my doctor, me, I am not one to rely upon the expert procedure. It is the psychology I seek, not the fingerprint or the cigarette ash. But in this case I would welcome a little scientific assistance. This compartment is full of clues, but can I be sure that those clues are really what they seem to be?’”

  5. Hercule Poirot is such an incredible character. If you look on the back of the book, you can see that Hercule has witnessed several mysteries before. He seems to know how to handle them easily. He might not know who the murderer is, but almost nobody can. Poirot is a very suspicious man and you never know what he is going to say. Hercule is a man almost any murder-mystery fan would know. He has been in 43 of Agatha Christie’s 82 books. That’s more than half! I think Hercule will have a very long life if he keeps us his actions.
