Tale of Desperaux Due 10/29

"Love is powerful, wonderful and ridiculous." Do you agree? How does it effect Despereaux's life? This should be a minimum of five sentences. You must use examples from the text to support your answer. This is worth five points.

  1. I agree that love is powerful, wonderful and ridiculous. Desperaux can see that because he is like a human trapped in a mouse's body. Love power is controlling him and he is in deep love with the human life. This makes him get thrown in the dungeons by his own parents and he almost gets eaten by rats. The love he has for human life is making his own life ridiculous!

  2. I do agree that love is powerful and ridiculous. Love effects Despereaux's life in many ways. When Despereaux let the princes touch his fur, which is breaking a mouse law,he fell in love with her. When the other mouse found out he broke the mouse law, he went straight to the dungeon. After Gregory the jailer helps Despereaux get out of the dungeon, Despereaux goes back into the dungeon to save the Pea from the rats.

  3. I agree, because a some things. In the begging compared to the end, a few things changed. Love can be very powerful sometimes. It affects Desperaux because he wasn't so determined to do stuff until he saw the princess. Also the love affected him cause he wanted the princess.but love can be powerful, wonderful, and ridiculous.

  5. Love is ridiculous love is something that can turn your whole life around and upsidedown. Like how love made Desperaux's life turn around and made him do very big challenges for himself a mouse.A challenge that he gave himself is that when he got in the dungeon,he got out, got his tale cut off,and went back in the dungeon to save his love the human princess.Love is wonderful and powerful because love is what humans have to be happy and feel like they are not alone.I agree that love is powerful, wonderful, and ridiculous because I just explained it.This is why love is powerful, wonderful, and ridiculous.

  6. Love is a powerful thing to Despereaux because Despereaux is in love with Princess Pea. The troubles in their relationship are: the Pea is a human and Despereaux is a mouse. The next reason they can’t be together is that the law of mice says that he shouldn’t even talk to humans, but that won’t stop little Despereaux. Now, we move on to the next question. Do I agree with the statement “love is a powerful thing,” yes? Love is powerful because if you didn’t have love you would be like Scrooge from the Christmas Carol. He was mean.
