- I grew up in a suburb of Chicago and attended the University of Missouri at Columbia for my undergrad. I have a Masters in Elementary Education from Regis. I come from a family with four kids. My sister is a teacher in Chicago. One of my brothers lives here and the other one lives in Chicago. I moved here because my husband loved Colorado and I loved him. As it turns out,I love Colorado as well.
My opinion is that Desperaux wants to live like a human. He does stuff like humans that the other mice don't do. One example is, instead of eating books, he reads them. He also acts like a human. He wants to explore the kingdom and see more of the world.

What life means to Despereaux is “once upon a time.” I believe that from the text it seems that he finds comfort in stories. Despereaux need comfort from the books because no one understands him and everyone thinks he’s weird. Another reason he needs the books is everyone think he is a disgrace. If I were Despereaux I would love the four lovely words “once upon a time.”

The meaning of Desperaux's life is to show that you don't have to be the same.Desperaux shows that because Desperaux is being himself but he's not a regular mouse he's a mouse who will go his own way.Desperaux is a mouse who will go his own way like how he reads the books in the library instead of eating the books.Another reason of Desperaux's life is that he shows that you can be a mouse that is diffrent but perfect in his own way.That's the meaning of Desperaux's life.
ReplyDeleteThe meaning of Desperaux's life is that he wants to be a human. He doesn't care about regular mouse life. He loves music and dosen't eat paper, he actually reads it! He talks to other creatures (like humans). That is what I think Desperaux's meaning of life is.

the meaning of desperex life is to be differnt. desperex look at light like no other mouse. desperex likes to read books not eat them. also desperex loves a human and enjoys music like no other mouse.so that's how i think desperex life has a meaning JACK KIRScHLING
